Raining ping pong balls

My cousin pulled this one on me:
In the medicine cabinet, or any cabinet, use a piece of cardboard to create a barrier. Then fill the cabinet with ping pong balls. Close the cabinet door, then slide the cardboard out from behind the door. When it is opened next, the balls will rain down on the victim and across the floor!
